Enter Downtime Reason

When the printer print count does not increase (no product passes print head) for 5 minutes, the Line Status will display Stopped and the Enter Downtime Reason button will display on the Line Dashboard page.

Initial Entry Time is Limited

The Enter Downtime Reason button only displays up to 5 minutes after the line comes back up (Line Status goes from Stopped to Running). After the Enter Downtime Button goes away, that downtime will show as Unknown. To revise a previous downtime event, see Change Downtime Reason.

  1. If you are not already viewing the Dashboard for the line that currently needs the downtime reason, select Performance | Lines and click Line Dashboard.
  2. Click Enter Downtime Reason.

  3. Click the down arrow and select the appropriate Downtime Category.

    If there is not already a Downtime Category that matches the issue, go to Downtime Setup | Create a Downtime Category and create the new downtime category. You can then return to the Line Dashboard and select the desired category from the list.

  4. Click Save.
